An abstracting service is a service that provides abstracts of publications, often on a subject or group of related subjects, usually upon a subscription basis. However, we offer this service as part of the open access books option. An indexing service is a service that assigns descriptors and other kinds of access points to documents. Both with abstracting, we offer this service as a part of the open access books option.
